Todays item

I just love that corner rounding punch. It gives a really nice finish. I made a cover for a notebook that I plan to fill with SU ideas and tips.

On a side note, I found out today that I have been promoted.  :0)  I am now a ‘Senior Associate’.  Also because I have over $3000 in sales for my first 3 months, I get to pick 3 stamps sets for free. How cool is that?

I am loving being an SU demo. How many people get to earn money from doing what they truly love to do? This is so cool.   :0)

Storage

Got this at Reject Shop for $20. It is meant to have a door, but, believe me, I struggled long and hard assembling it without having to add the door. I actually prefer it without the door because I can see what I have and easily reach for it.

I still need to purchase at least another 12 Stamp pads, but, they will fit in there when I move a few of the other things. I put my water color pencils, pastels, Marvellous markers and Crafters tool kit in there. It would probably be worth me spending another $20 and purchase another unit……………………….. I guess I will, it is just the thought of assembling another one that makes me tired even thinking about it……….. I do not own any screwdrivers and I had to use a knife instead and it was really hard work. I think I will purchase a cheap set of screw drivers, I definitely need them.

Having fun

Vanessa and Lou, thanks so much for your comments, regarding the book I made. I am pleased with it but I am going to fancy the cover up a bit more.

I just got the first part of my SU order that I put in last week when I won the Go For Gold Scholarship. I made a new logo for this website. I photographed just a few of my SU items. I have heaps more.

The order arrived this afternoon and I have heaps of card stock, a brayer, all the marking pens, 24 new stamp pads, 11 new stamp sets, gel pen, Crafters tool kit and heaps more. It is like having 3 birthdays at once. lol

I still have 2/3 of my prize money left and I am going to get ribbons, more card stock, crayons, more stamps and storage with it.

Display book

I got a couple of really nice blank books, with black pages. They were less than $5 each at a local shop and they are perfect for displaying my cards. I put one book together today. Well, I started it, I have around 90 pages left to fill, but, this is good, because I will be able to put my cards into it as I make them.

The purpose of the book is to take to workshops with me, so my customers can see what can be made and what materials I used to make the cards.

On the cover of the book I put the very first card that I made with Stampin’ Up!, in February this year. The impact of that first workshop I attended is what motivated me to become a demonstrator and I am very grateful for that……..

I have only put the cover and a few pages of the book in pictures on here. It is too tedious to upload the whole lot. I just wanted to show off what I am making because it might help others who are trying to work out how to display their creative efforts. The black pages are really effective and show the work off to it’s best advantage.
